For those interested in, I've created a little patch to move the
/keybase folder back in your
$HOME directory, where it'd have been
put in the first place.
Here is the command listing to enter to have it working.
# First we have to shutdown previous running instance of keybase client killall Keybase # Then, we must unmount the old /keybase folder fusermount -uz /keybase # Then, we kill the remaining kbfs processes killall kbfsfuse killall keybase # After that, you can retrieve my patch wget https://milouse.keybase.pub/run_keybase.patch # Then, apply it cd /usr/bin sudo patch -i /path/to/the/patch/run_keybase.patch # Do not forget to restart keybase run_keybase
